Little Traverse Lake Preliminary Engineering

Gosling Czubak has been awarded a contract to complete a preliminary engineering proposal to remedy the record high water levels at Little Traverse Lake in Leelanau County.  The proposal is a follow up to a previous study completed by Gosling Czubak, which concluded that the combination of high rains, beaver dams and inadequately sized culverts were the cause of the record high water levels.

The preliminary proposal scope of work will include a geotechnical investigation, involving soil borings, and preliminary cost opinions for the replacement of culverts on two county roads with either large systems or a clear span bridge.
