Wellhead Protection PlanVillage of Elk Rapids, Michigan

Gosling Czubak has completed numerous wellhead protection plans for communities throughout Northern Lower Michigan. Each of the projects included: establishment of a local Wellhead Protection Committee, delineation of the wellhead protection area by groundwater modeling, development of contaminant source inventories, development of management methods to protect delineated wellhead area, prepare contingency plans for public water supply systems in the event of contamination or interruption of use of the water source, preparation of provisions for the proper siting of new wells to minimize potential contamination, and assistance with development of public education and participation programs.
