A major oil company retained Gosling Czubak to complete hydraulic conductivity (permeability) tests on clay specimens. The clay specimens were retrieved from the site of a new containment basin for a storage tank battery structure. The purpose of the testing was to verify that the clay would be relatively impermeable to specific liquids if a spill occurred.
