This crossing of Maple River was in need of improvement with undersized twin culverts. The hydraulic analysis, engineering plans, permits and specifications for the replacement bridge were completed in 2013. A three-span timber bridge was selected for this site with spans of 20 feet, 30 feet, and 20 feet. The overall length of 70 feet for this structure extends past the bank full width of the river and allows passage of the 100 year storm event. Construction of this bridge was completed in 2016.
