A developer was interested in purchasing a commercial property in Traverse City and retained Gosling Czubak to complete a Phase I Environmental Site Assessment.  Recognized environmental conditions (RECs) were identified and a Phase II Assessment was performed.  Phase II ESA activities, including soil and groundwater sampling, as well as a ground penetrating radar (GPR) survey for suspected underground storage tanks.  A Baseline Environmental Assessment was prepared and submitted to the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality therefore exempting the developer from environmental cleanup liability.
