Map View
The Village of Kalkaska had aesthetically poor water quality. Sediment and mineral staining were a common problem throughout the Village.
Gosling Czubak analyzed the problem and designed a treatment system to remove iron, manganese and hydrogen sulfide. A number of old, unlined cast iron water mains were also replaced. The result was substantially improved water quality and a significant reduction in the number of complaints from customers concerning taste, odor and staining problems.
